  • We translate Japanese doujins, manga, text, and videos to English.
  • We’re an experienced and competent team with multiple releases.
  • Translations are done manually, skillfully, and thoughtfully, by a JLPT-N1 certified, human translator who also writes fluent English.
  • No content restrictions.

How to place a commission in 4 steps!

  1. Send us a message with your request (see the next section).
  2. We’ll reply with an ETA and an invoice.
  3. Pay the amount specified in the invoice. Translation only starts after full payment.
  4. Wait warmly for us to message you with a link to your finished translation.

Please write the following on your first message:

  • Link to the media, or an attachment
  • Page numbers / timestamps that you want translated
  • Whether you want typesetting or not
  • Additional special requests (e.g. Do you want to upload it yourself?)
  • (If messaging via Discord) Your e-mail address, so we can send you an invoice.

More Details

  • Translations are all done by hand, with no automated translation services.
    • Your translation will be as faithful to the original Japanese text as it can possibly be. No rewrites here.
    • If it’s not obvious yet, I’m also a native English speaker, so expect the English to sound natural as well.
  • SFX will usually not be translated, unless it’s crucial to the plot.
  • Q: What’s taking so long?
    • 10% Translation
      • Translation is the fastest part of the job, but the expertise to do that is what you’re mainly paying for
      • Scripts are typically finished just a few hours after the payment is sent.
    • 85% Editing
      • Editing is laborious, but without it all you’ve got is a script that’s hard to enjoy alone.
    • 5% Proofreading & Re-editing
      • Making sure nothing is missed.
      • Sometimes lines have to be rewritten because they suddenly sound weird.
      • Back and forth between the editor and I might take some time

Refunds

  • Please make absolutely sure that F*kku or some other site hasn’t translated your commission yet.
  • You will get a full refund if work has not yet begun.
  • You will be given a partial refund if work has already begun.
    • Like stated in the previous items, translation finishes quickly but it’s mostly what you’re paying for.
    • Even if you’ve only slept on it for a day, don’t expect much back since the translation may have finished by then.
    • If we give you a partial refund, you will be given the script, to show that work has already been completed.
